Directors Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern follow Oasis through the 2025 reunion tour, from rehearsal rooms to backstage hallways to the stage itself. Liam and Noel Gallagher sit down together for their first joint interview in more than fifteen years, which is a sentence nobody thought they'd ever read. The film also rewinds to the 1990s Britpop explosion, the split, and the famously stormy brotherhood, then asks what getting back together means for the band and the fans who kept waiting. Steven Knight wrote it. One hundred twenty-three minutes, two brothers, zero excuses left.
Anyone who bought a bucket hat in 2025. Also anyone who has ever made up with a sibling.
If you’re hoping to learn who picked up the phone first, Don’t Look Back in Anger will leave you hanging. The documentary skips the dirt on rock’s most famous sibling feud and never explains how Liam and Noel Gallagher actually patched it up, which is the one question everybody walks in with. What it offers instead is a victory lap, and it’s a good one. Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern, who also made Shut Up and Play the Hits, move between rehearsal rooms, backstage hallways and the stage of the 2025 reunion tour, with flashbacks to the Britpop years and the split. The main event is the brothers’ first joint interview in more than fifteen years, and they bounce off each other like a seasoned comedy double act. You feel what the reunion means to fans. It holds a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. An 8.0 because the chemistry and the music carry it, even as it ducks every hard question. $4,189 says you play the old albums this weekend and argue with a sibling about which brother was right.
What works: Liam and Noel are hilarious together in their joint interview, and the tour footage captures what the reunion meant to the band and the fans.
What doesn’t: It skips the dirt on the feud and never explains how the brothers actually got back together, which is what everyone wants to know.
Who it’s for: Oasis fans who waited years for the reunion, and anyone who loves a big, warm music documentary.

The film ends on the reunion as a happy ending, with the brothers back on stage together for the 2025 tour. It treats the long feud as water under the bridge rather than digging into how it was settled.
